With Halloween fast approaching, we take take a look back at some of the best, worst and quite frankly ridiculous costumes worn by celebrities.
Heidi absolutely LOVES Halloween. She may be one of the world’s most beautiful women, but she is not shy when it comes to donning a costume and the more hideous, more extreme the better. Her costumes are so good, that she is usually completely unrecognisable at the annual Halloween parties that she hosts.
The actress and her comic husband sported this rather wacky get up for the Casamigos Halloween Party in 2013. It certainly helps stop them being recognised by the public, but what are they actually meant to be? Scary? Not really. Weird. Yes!
This ‘California Gurl’ loves a costume. From brightly coloured, sweet inspired, pop art stage costumes to dressing up as TV characters such as Daria (see below), Halloween really is Katy Perry’s cup of tea. Her Justin Bieber costume is certainly scary, but I’m not sure it would be Gowns and heels first choice!
No stranger to the wacky world of celebrity, star blogger Perez Hilton stepped up to the mark last Halloween and opted for a Miley Cyrus inspired costume. We must admit we had to look twice at the rather uncanny resemblance. Well done Perez, if it hadn’t been for the excessive body hair and slightly restrained body stance we wouldn’t have bat an eyelid. next time stick our tongue out, twerk it up a bit and bring that wrecking ball.
And talking of Miley Cyrus…
Miley took on a rather more restrained look than normal when she wore her tribute to Lil’ Kim for Halloween 2013. The 20-year-old twerker wore a purple wig and costume complete with a nipple pastie to replicate Kim‘s look from the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. Miley said of her costume, “In my past life, I feel like that was me. I feel like Lil Kim is who I am on the inside”. OK Miley, whatever you say. We say go back to doing what you do best.
